Here are 50 easy ways for children to show kindness to their family, friends and community:

  1. Bake cookies for your madrasah class.

  2. Check in on an elderly neighbour.

  3. Set up a lemonade stand outside your local masjid, and donate the profits.

  4. Help your parents to cook dinner and clean up afterwards.

  5. Donate your outgrown clothes.

  6. Play a game with your siblings, that you know they love to play.

  7. Give out stickers to other kids.

  8. Talk to someone new at school.

  9. Take flowers for your teacher.

  10. Donate essential items to a homeless person.

  11. Take treats to the fire station.

  12. Read a book to someone.

  13. Tell someone how much you love them.

  14. Say Salaam to a stranger.

  15. Make someone else’s bed.

  16. Bake a cake for a neighbour.

  17. Hold the door open for someone.

  18. Invite someone to play with you and your friends.
